Nature has its own way to surprise us really.
Whether it be the dramatic sunset colours, the thrilling rainfall, the striking thunderstorm…or as light as the crashing waves.
Handy lead Nita walking to an edge of a big coral rock at the beach.
I asked them to stand there for a bit and wait for a good wave crash for an extra touch in the shot.
Not long after, Handy said “I think this is a good one coming”.. So I got ready to take the shot.
And then suddenly BOOM, an unexpectedly huge wave crashed onto them.
Nita and Handy got properly drenched from head to toe instantly. They couldn’t stop laughing and I couldn’t stop taking shots of them.
That was such a golden moment.
A good wash under the charming sunlight. Perfect timing, perfect everything.
Easily the most fun beach sesh I’ve ever done.
Nita loved the photo so much, she told me she had it printed out big to display on their wedding day.
Sometimes the nature’s interference could make everything become so much better and make our job as photographer that bit easier.
